How we work

Health guidance you can check for yourself

  1. Every figure is sourced

Each article lists the guidance it comes from — CDC, NIH, FDA, USPSTF. If a claim cannot be traced, it is not published.

  2. Clinically reviewed

A named clinician checks articles against current guidance, and the review date is on the page. Where that has not happened yet, we say so.

  3. We say when to stop reading

Every article names the symptoms that mean seeing a doctor instead. We take no sponsorship, and no article recommends a product because we sell it.
